Introduction

Ten years ago, monitors were nothing more than necessary accessories. Today, they can be luxury items that dramatically improve all aspects of computing and content consumption. There are so many types of monitors that suit so many different needs.

Update: Display manufacturers showed off impressive screens with nearly invisible bezels at CES 2016, but the show stealer is Dell's 30-inch AMOLED monitor. Dell's display comes with an AMOLED panel for inky blacks and vibrant colors, impressively fast 0.1ms refresh rates and a 4K resolution sccreen. Dell and Acer also showed off USB-C monitors and monitors with a wireless charging stand for your smartphone. LG and Asus also showed off ultra-wide and curved 34-inch displays.
